| MARK HENNESSY is a well-known musician making Cape Cod his home, but he is loved in Naples , Florida as well as the Carribean ,and Killington, Vermont. "This guy is first class. " From song choice to delivery, every nuance is " Nothing but the best". He has worked everything from a single to Big Band and has shared the stage with some of the Capes best musicians. Now he settled in with Bill Rountree and Jeffrey Hayward. The three of them together provide a dynamic package that has proven the quality of the "SLACKERS" performance.......second to none.

JEFFREY "Hollywood" HAYWARD is the newest member to the "SLACKERS". He plays several instruments including tenor, alto, soprano saxophones, and flute too. Jeffrey's musical career began in San Mateo, California in the early 70's . He toured and performed and recorded with many well known artists for 20 years before finally making it to New England to settle down. As a talent in local recording studio projects and soloist for the band, he demands the groove to be locked in, and nobody provides that better than Bill Rountree and Mark Hennessy . He has a fine resume of concert performances and recordings with many people such as: members of Tower of Power- (Chester Thompson, Hubert Tubs, Rocco P., Bruce Conti ) , from Steely Dan -(Denni Dias), Brian Auger and The Oblivian Express, The Crest, Stan Kenton, Mary Wells, Tavares, Billy Preston, George Duke, (Napolian Brock) from Frank Zappa and many more. There is lots of energy here and some back up vocals to assist the band. Hollywood's Favorite saying ,"OK TO GO".

BILL ROUNTREE has played in countless top notch bands from Cape Cod to Florida . Bill is an excellent bassist/singer/song writer and has spent time recording in Nashville, Tenn. His original songs were recorded using an all-star band with members of THE ALLMAN BROS. GOVT. MULE, GREATFUL DEAD, ARETHA FRANKLIN, MUSCLE SHOALS RYTHM SECTION, BROOKS& DUNN, TOBY KEITH, CHER, AND DOLLY PARTON bands. Bill continues to do recording projects with original artists in New England , and Florida including his old friend, and guitar phenom Michael Oakland. He has worked up and down the eastern seaboard with numerous funk, rock, soul, folk, blues, and jazz bands. He also performed with "The Jim Miller Project" for eleven years.He brings a solid , full, fresh sound to the band. He is a very strong vocalist that never lets you down when it gets demanding. A most well-rounded, and versatile bass player & singer, with great technique and a strong sense of groove. Bill spends part of the year in Florida now, where he plays with several different bands, but is always glad to get back up north to "The Cape Cod Slackers", just in time for summer!
